The next chapter in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise was officially revealed during today’s State of Play showcase. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic is set to launch on June 13, marking the 11th main entry in the series and the fourth game developed by Steel Wool Studios.

A Glimpse Into the Mystery

The game was first teased in August 2024 with an intriguing message: “To see the future, sometimes you need to understand the past.” That initial teaser introduced Jackie, a character who appears again in the latest trailer, but there’s much more lurking in the shadows.

While official details remain limited there’s not even a Steam page yet one thing is clear: Secret of the Mimic stays true to the eerie and suspenseful experience FNAF fans love. This time, players are tasked with entering an abandoned warehouse to retrieve advanced technology originally developed by the missing Edwin Murray. The centerpiece of this mystery? A prototype endoskeleton with the ability to adapt to different costumes and assume various identities aptly named “The Mimic.”

What to Expect

The new installment promises all the tension and atmospheric horror the series is known for. While no official confirmation of a PC release has been made yet, fans are hopeful for more platform announcements soon.
